The NextGen young leaders programme is coming to Rotherham!
We're looking for young people age 14 - 18 to take part in a six week leadership programme packed full of fun , engaging workshops , courses and activities carefully designed for teenagers who have an interest in sport and physical activity!
Do you want to develop your leadership skills?
Do you have a passion for physical activity?
Do you want to have a say in next years Capital of Culture sporting activities?
Do you want to add some experience to your CV?
If yes , this FREE programme is for you!
The group will help design the programme in the first week but will be offered a whole range of qualifications and experiences including first aid , mental health first aid , safeguarding , multi skills activator training , sports specific activators , becoming a peer researcher , outdoor adventure trips and much more!
Dates: Every Friday of the summer holidays ( 26th July, 2nd , 9th , 16th , 23rd and 30th August)
Time : 11am - 2.30pm
Venue: Rotherham United, New York Stadium, New York Way, Rotherham S60 1FJ
